One-to-One Counselling

A warm welcome. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

A Safe Space for You

Counselling is about more than talking - it’s about being truly seen and heard, without judgement. In our sessions together, I’ll offer you a safe, supportive space where you can explore whatever you’re carrying. Nothing is too small or too big to bring.

I believe that within each of us lies the capacity to heal. My role is to walk alongside you, offering empathy, presence and gentle guidance as you begin to reconnect with your authentic self.

How I Work

While talking can be powerful, sometimes words aren’t enough. Depending on what feels right for you, we might explore:

  • Brainspotting – a gentle, body-based way of working with trauma.
  • Breathwork or Movement – to release and process emotions safely.
  • Creative Tools – like sand-tray work, art or symbols, to bring hidden feelings into the open.

You set the pace, and together we’ll find approaches that support your healing best.

My Training and Approach

I am a qualified, trauma-informed counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). My work is grounded in person-centred values, drawing on the teachings of Carl Rogers, while also integrating creative and somatic approaches such as brainspotting, breathwork and movement.

I continue to train and learn, ensuring my practice remains safe, ethical, and deeply respectful of each individual who chooses to work with me.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals aged 11 and upwards, supporting people through many different life experiences, including:

  • Trauma, both recent and historic
  • Grief and loss
  • Anxiety, stress and overwhelm
  • Depression or low mood
  • Life transitions and identity exploration
Neurodivergence, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia
  • LGBTQ+ experiences
  • Feelings of being stuck, disconnected, or unable to move forward

You don’t need to have the “right” words, a diagnosis, or even a clear reason to come to counselling. If you’re struggling, curious, or simply want a safe space to understand yourself better, we can begin there.
